Question 1

How do I find a free classroom at COMSATS Lahore?

Accepted Answer

Open BEACON and pick a day and time — it reads the official CUI Lahore timetable and lists the empty rooms, so you can find free rooms at COMSATS Lahore without scanning the timetable sheet yourself.

Question 2

Is BEACON the official COMSATS timetable?

Accepted Answer

No. BEACON is a student-made tool and is not affiliated with COMSATS University Islamabad. It derives its data from the publicly published timetable at sfs.cuilahore.edu.pk, which remains the official source.

Question 3

Can I check future time slots?

Accepted Answer

Yes. “Check future slots” lets you pick any day, start time and how long you need the room, so you can plan around a future free classroom at COMSATS Lahore before classes end.

Question 4

Does it cover labs too?

Accepted Answer

Yes. BEACON covers labs as well as classrooms, with building filters (A, B, C, D, N, Labs, Other) so you can narrow the free rooms at COMSATS Lahore down to exactly where you want to sit.
